Is it wrong..?

"Is it wrong for a man and a woman to sleep together?"
"Yes it's wrong! What do you mean is it wrong?"
"No, I mean just sleep together.."
"If they aren't married than yes T it is absolutely wrong.."
"I don't mean having sex dad, I just mean sleeping.."
"Just sleeping? A man and a woman should not be sleeping in the same bed if they aren't married. There would be temptation, so yes, that's wrong."

Six on the Sixth

Today I am six. Grandma asked me if I felt older today than I did yesterday, and I said yes. It's raining outside and everyone's taking a nap except me. I watch the drops hit the screen and drip down, as I bat the cord against the window pane. I feel like today is a sort of special day, because today I am six on the sixth.

A Quillow

I was stitching a quillow* in home-economics class.

Repulsed by my body, I wish to disown it. Can people know just by looking at me what I'm thinking? What I've done, and been doing? Jehovah knows. Does everyone else know too? That was the last time.. I'll never masturbate again. I promise.

A Real Talk

"I want to give a real talk where I actually address the congregation. I think I'd be really good at it."

"When I get older, can I do that?" I whispered, as a boy walked up the aisle and handed the microphone over to someone a few rows ahead of us.
"No T. That's the boys' job."
"Why can't girls do it?"
"Because the Bible tells us that the men should serve the women."
"Oh."

Jesus has Perfect Grammar

"Jesus has bad grammar," I chuckled.
"You think that the son of God doesn't have a better understanding of grammar than you, an imperfect, 11 year old girl?"
"No.. but I just mean he doesn't have correct grammer like I've learned in school."

 "Jesus is perfect. And that means he has perfect grammar."

Playing Checkers

“If jehovah and Jesus have been there forever, what were they doing before they created the earth and all the people?” 

“They were making the stars.” 

“And before that?” 

“The planets.”

“And before that, what were Jehovah and Jesus doing?” 

“They were playing checkers.”
